Kemnaker National Internship Program 2025 Opens 20,000 Slots for University Graduates with Salary Equivalent to Provincial Minimum Wage

Jakarta, October 2, 2025 – The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) of the Republic of Indonesia has officially launched the National Internship Program for University Graduates, specifically designed for fresh graduates holding Diploma and Bachelor’s degrees across Indonesia. Regulated under Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker) Number 8 of 2025, this program is a strategic government initiative to strengthen the competencies of young workers and bridge the transition from education to the workforce.

This program represents a golden opportunity for new graduates to gain professional work experience. In its initial phase, the Government has prepared 20,000 participant slots with a program duration of six months.

Key Points of the Kemnaker National Internship Program 2025:

1. Facilities and Benefits for Participants
Each intern will receive several important benefits, including:

• Allowance Equivalent to Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP). Participants will receive a monthly allowance adjusted to the Provincial Minimum Wage in the location of the host company. Reports indicate around IDR 3.3 million per month (depending on UMP). This allowance is fully covered by the Government.
• Social Security Coverage. Interns will be enrolled in the National Employment Social Security program, including Work Accident Insurance and Death Benefits.
• Official Certificate. Participants who complete the program will receive an official certificate.
• Placement Opportunities. Participants will be placed in registered private companies and state-owned enterprises (BUMN) that meet the required criteria.

2. Important Dates and Registration Process
Registration will be conducted centrally via the Kemnaker digital platform.

Registration is carried out online through maganghub.kemnaker.go.id or the SIAPKerja application.

3. Eligibility Requirements
The program specifically targets fresh graduates from higher education institutions who meet the following criteria:

1. Indonesian citizen (WNI), proven by a valid National Identification Number (NIK).
2. Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
3. Graduated within a maximum of 1 year from the date of diploma issuance at the time of registration.
4. Graduate of a higher education institution registered with the relevant ministry.
